  • Wander Where Trips, turn your ordinary day off or vacation day into an unforgettable adventure!
We craft self-guided, one-day road trips so you can skip the planning and jump straight into exploring without a tour guide or organized group. You control the pace, stops and schedule!

Here’s the twist: you’ll know the vibe of your trip (think "coastal charm" or "castle treasures"), but the destination? That’s our little secret until the day of your journey!

We’re obsessed with uncovering hidden gems, cozy cafes, indie shops, and the kind of quaint little towns you’ll want to tell all your friends about (but secretly keep to yourself).

So pack your sense of adventure we’ll handle the rest.  Let’s wander somewhere wonderful.

  • This is a one-day trip, typically lasting 6–8 hours, depending on the route and how long you spend at each stop.

  • That’s part of the fun, it’s a surprise!
But don’t worry, we won’t leave you completely in the dark. Here’s how you can get a sneak peek (without spoiling the adventure):

    • Peek at the Trip Map

  • Sometimes, yes. Depending on your itinerary:

    • Entrance tickets for some attractions
    • Activities/Excursions
    • Meal reservations at some restaurants
  • Yes, but consider the physical activity involved. On each trip description we will advise if the trip is suitable for kids or seniors.  There will be areas within each tour that are not stroller or wheelchair accessible, but there will always be alternative walking routes.

Also, keep in mind that we offer several options on each stop to cater to all ages. Choose stops with easy access and plenty of rest options if traveling with children or seniors.

    • Get ready for a well-curated adventure filled with charm, hidden spots and good vibes!
    • Each trip comes with a handpicked itinerary that guides you to local gems and shops, delicious restaurants and cafes, and off-the-beaten-path treasures you didn’t know you were missing!

What’s NOT Included (just so you know!)

    • You’ll cover your own food, drinks, gas, and any admission fees along the way. That way, you’re free to splurge when you feel.
    • Car snacks and playlists not included, but highly encouraged!!
  • If you’re all piling into the same car and doing the trip together, just one purchase covers the whole squad.

One trip = one itinerary = one epic day of adventuring for everyone in your group.

  • We recommend hitting the road within 4-6 months of your purchase. That’s the sweet spot where all our hidden gems are still shining and our recommendations are fresh and fabulous!

You're totally welcome to take your trip after that, but just a heads up: things change (businesses move, menus update, new spots pop up!), so we can't promise everything will still be exactly as planned. Adventure waits for no one... so don’t wait too long!

  • Not always. Some rural or scenic areas may have poor reception.

Download offline maps and your itinerary in advance just to be safe!

  • Stay calm. Use GPS or offline maps, ask locals for directions, or backtrack to the last known point.

Also, locals are very friendly! You can always ask for directions.

  • Any well-maintained car will work. If you are feeling adventurous you can rent a Vespa!

  • Absolutely! That’s one of the benefits of a self-guided trip. Flexibility is key! Feel free to stay longer at places you enjoy or skip others. If you know you are staying overnight, you can always break up the tour over 2 days!
